Our centre was purpose-built to be the best environment for our tamariki. We have modern indoor facilities and a large outdoor area with veggie gardens, fruit trees, and a sandpit.

Our Team

Our team consists of highly experienced, qualified, caring teachers and homemakers. Every team member is a qualified First Aider, and several team members hold specialist qualifications.

Kiwi Educare is a mixed age early childcare centre for children birth to 6 years old in Lynmore, Rotorua. Children learn in an open plan purpose-built building and outdoor environment, that is modern with large windows and lots of natural light. A large sleep room supports children’s natural sleep routines. Kiwi Educare prepares fresh healthy meals daily for our children. Our centre opens into a sunny outside area that has veggie gardens and other fruit trees.

Our experienced and qualified teaching team support children’s learning through Tuakana-Teina (teaching partnership between children) relationships, following each child’s individual learning progression supported by their key teacher, the New Zealand Curriculum Te Whāriki and guiding principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Our centre places high priority on whānau involvement and community-based learning experiences. All learning is documented and shared with whānau through several mediums, both online and in person.

The Kiwi Educare team are friendly, caring, and do a great job looking after my son. Right from our first visit, Kiwi Educare helped us feel so comfortable with the thought of someone else taking care of our son (which as a first time parent can be quite daunting!). All of the teachers were so warm and friendly and we very quickly made to feel part of the Kiwi Educare family. We love the regular updates we get on the Educa app of our son’s learning progress and growth and they were open to accommodating our cloth nappy needs as well which a lot of other centres said no to.
